Annual Altered Books art project
presented by the Palm Springs Public
Library and the Palm Springs Art
Museum. In celebration of National
Library Week the Library and the Art
Museum are partnering together to
present the work of local and nationally
known artists. Their original art
pieces were created from books, videos,
CDs and DVDs “weeded” out of the
Library’s collection.
April 13, 2-4PM –
Free reception at the library for the
public unveiling.
May 10, 11-3PM – As
part of the museum’s Spring Fling
Community Day, there will be a silent
auction, benefiting both the library and
the museum. Bidding closes at 4PM.
May 10, 3-5PM –
Final reception at Zone 101 of the
museum with the winners announced.
